The best option is to send the item in a small envelope with a few stamps, just like a regular letter. Please avoid using FedEx, UPS, or DHL. These services are significantly more expensive than regular postage and often cause complications. In many cases, we have to pay customs fees and duties, which can be quite a hassle since delivery is delayed until these fees are settled. We will not accept shipments from these companies and will not cover any associated duties. Do not put more than 0.5 ml inside the sample vial, it is already more than enough what the lab needs.

If you still prefer to use FedEx, please ensure the declared value is $1 and specify the contents as something like "oil sample," as we cannot determine the exact nature of the sample. It is not really worth paying FedEx to have it delivered a few days faster.

This is why we provide a small sample holder that can be easily sent as a regular letter. Please follow these instructions to avoid any issues. Please use a double envelope or whatever you have available inside for extra protection. The small hard container will almost always tear a hole in the envelope, and the mail arrives empty.

Leave the sample vial in the small plastic bag; it already has a sticker with your email address. Do not include anything else; the lab does not need anything else. We constantly have people who mistyped the email address and then complain that they placed order (paid) but they did not receive anything, no confirmation, no order status. Also watch your spam and trash folder for results. We had customers who deleted trash folder and then keep emailing that they did not receive anything. The lab does not keep results indefinitely to email again. It gives a lot of headaches.
